Witherslack is a picturesque village with a fabulous pub called the Derby Arms, which serves great food, and a community shop run by local volunteers, where you can buy locally produced food items and essentials. It's an ideal location from which to explore the south Lakes region including Windermere, Grange-over-Sands, Ulverston, Cartmel and Consiton, although the Western Lakes and coastal areas are easily accessible too.
