With woodland and parkland views from every window, this fully refurbished apartment, situated at the rear of the mansion house, comprises one bedroom for two adults. It is light and bright, with an open-plan living/kitchen and a modern bathroom, making this property a great bolthole for an adventure getaway or romantic break.
Positioned on the southwestern shore of Windermere, the Lake Cruises at Lakeside, The Aquarium of The Lakes, and The Lakeside and Haverthwaite Railway are less than a mile away. You can sail from Lakeside to Bowness on Windermere, Brockhole and Ambleside. Hawkshead and the popular Grizedale Forest are around 10 minutes in the car.
The apartment also shares the mansion’s extensive, well-tended gardens. On sunny days, head outside and soak up the views across the lawns. It's a perfect place for a picnic with a morning coffee, G&T, or a bottle of wine, or if you are brave enough, a dip in the lake!
