Brooklands

Lindale
Sleeps 6
Bedrooms 3

Brooklands is a beautifully refurbished three-bedroom holiday home ideally suited for family holidays or friends' getaways. Situated in the picturesque village of Lindale, just two miles from the seaside town of Grange-Over-Sands, it is conveniently placed to explore the South Lake District.

Originally two separate properties, built in 1818, they have been combined internally to provide wonderfully spacious accommodation that has been well thought out, including a light and bright living room with very comfy sofas - imagine an afternoon nap!

The dining area and stairs leading to the first floor sit between the living room and the kitchen. We love the handcrafted wooden bench table and stools; they look fab and are perfect for the family or friends to gather for a hearty meal.

Speaking of meals, the kitchen is a cook's delight; it's bright, modern and fitted with modern appliances, including an induction hob, oven and dishwasher, and you'll be spoilt for choice when it comes to pots, pans, crockery, etc.

Outside, to the rear of the house, is the paved patio garden, a peaceful space enveloped by established shrubbery and flanked by a babbling brook. Outdoor furniture is provided to make the most of the space. Next to the house is private driveway parking for up to two cars. If you have bicycles with you, you can store them in the cellar, accessed via the rear garden.

This beautiful house provides a perfect base for your group to explore the local area and a base when looking for accommodation for the Cartmel Races. You won't want to leave with so much to see and do! Come and enjoy this beautiful home away from home.
