Pembroke Cottage

Cartmel
Sleeps 6
Bedrooms 3
Dog Friendly

Three gorgeous double bedrooms - all en-suite:

Imagine relaxing in a spacious garden room with a Morso wood-burning stove and large windows, admiring the breathtaking 270-degree views across the Cartmel Valley to the Coniston, Fairfield, Helvellyn, and Cartmel Fells. Nothing but the sounds of birdsong from the surrounding mature gardens and the Church bells sounding on a Sunday morning—it is truly wonderful!

Pembroke Cottage must be a top choice when booking a Cartmel holiday cottage. It has three double bedrooms—all en-suite—a new Shaker kitchen with all the modern appliances, a fabulous lounge with comfy sofa seating and a large Smart TV, a dining area seating six to eight guests, and a boot/mud room with a large stainless-steel sink, perfect for washing off muddy pooches after a day out exploring the area.

The extensive mature gardens extend to almost half an acre and are not overlooked, offering a private, secure space for children and dogs. For sunnier days, the southwest-facing patio, with direct access via French doors to the kitchen and a dining set for six people, is perfect for alfresco dining or perhaps a few drinks while watching the sunset.

Pembroke Cottage is positioned on the slopes of Hampsfell, less than a 10-minute walk from the centre of Cartmel Village, making it ideal for visitors to Cartmel Racecourse and the South Lakes, with Coniston, Ulverston, Kendal, and Grange all within easy reach.

Returning visitors to Cartmel will know that, as wonderful as it is, off-street parking is scarce, with visitors having to park at the racecourse. Worry not; Pembroke Cottage has private parking for up to four cars in the driveway.

We highly recommend Pembroke Cottage when booking a holiday home in Cartmel.
