Herdwick Cottages is an independent holiday letting agency based in Kendal. We market high-quality holiday cottages, apartments, and glamping units across the Lake District, on behalf of the individual property owners.
We have a large office situated in the centre of Kendal, with parking available, or secure bicycle storage. The team is small, but passionate about providing excellent service to our customers and our property owners.
To support our continued growth, we are looking to fill the following vacancies.
Herdwick Cottages are looking for experienced and friendly Housekeepers throughout Cumbria, but predominantly in the South Lakes, to provide professional housekeeping services for holiday cottages and lodges.
Ideally, we need year-round availability, to include our busiest changeover days, Friday & Monday, although some flexibility would be advantageous.
- Housekeepers will be working on a self-employed basis, and you will need your transport.
- The amount we pay you is based on the property size/beds/bathrooms. We will agree on the changeover rate with you in advance of taking on the property.
- All housekeepers will be expected to clean the property to a high standard and undertake the launder of bed linen and towels.
Please note: We are always looking for new housekeepers as we take on new properties weekly. If you apply, and we don’t currently have a property in your area, we would love to keep your details on file to let you know when a property becomes available.
